Vara y Pulgar Tintilla
Regular price
$32.00
Vara y Pulgar is crafted from Tintilla, a rare and nearly forgotten grape from the Jerez region. Cultivated in Jerez for centuries, Tintilla, along with other varieties, nearly vanished after the phylloxera epidemic in the early 20th century.
This wine, made in a fresh style, captures the complexity and beauty of the local terroir.
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Dark fruit and earthy notes
- Palate: Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and fine tannins
- Finish: Elegant and balanced
Production Highlights:
- Soil: Albariza soils, a light and porous chalk similar to that in Champagne
