A white wine crafted by Oriol Artigas from 80% Pansa Blanca and 20% Garnacha Blanca. This vibrant wine reflects the unique terroir of DO Alella, where vineyards date back to Roman times, nestled just north of Barcelona along the Mediterranean coast.
La Rumbera is an ideal pairing for a variety of seafood, especially grilled head-on prawns.Â
Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Limoncello, apple, and pear
- Palate: Medium-bodied with bright acidity
- Finish: Distinct marine character with a touch of sea salt
Production Highlights:
- Fermentation: Half the grapes are destemmed and crushed, macerated on skins for 3-4 days; the other half macerated whole for 9 days
- Aging: Fermented with wild yeasts in 80% stainless steel and 20% old 300-liter barrels, aged on lees for 6 months
- Process: Bottled without fining or filtration, ensuring purity of flavor
